Ida Haendel, (December 15, 1928) is a British violinist of Polish birth.
Ida Haendel was born in Chelm, a small town in eastern Poland. He studied with Carl Flesch and George Enescu in Paris. During the Second World War played in the factories for American and British troops. His career has developed since the end of World War II. Her autobiography, Woman with Violin, was published in 1970.
