The Philharmonic Orchestra of Bacau (Romania) , created in 1956, is one of the orchestras of Eastern Europe's most historic and tradition. His repertoire includes pieces of symphonic, vocal-symphonic and chamber music, ranging from the Renaissance and Baroque to the Classical and Romantic to the contemporary style. The Philharmonic "Mihail Jora" has taken on tour in Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Gibraltar, United States, Greece, Malta and Russia and has participated in many festivals including the prestigious Altamura Music Festival on the Green "and the twentieth anniversary of the "Beethoven Festival in the USA.
