This year the Festival presents in Violin Making as the large container in which music and violin come together, enhance each other. The center of gravity is the Triennial Competition, an event around which a number of initiatives focused on contemporary instruments, the leitmotiv of the 2009 exhibition organized by Fondazione Stradivari. In this play an important role in the Cremona Quartet, for some stagioneideale testimonial of the Foundation, which for three concerts will be called to play instruments of this and past editions of the Triennial Competition by hosting the special guest. In particular, Sept. 25 at the Ponchielli Quartet will perform with soloists of the Competition Jury, on October 11 in Santa Maria della Pietà with the famous cellist Enrico Dindo, October 3, also in Santa Mariadella Pietà, with the renowned flutist Andrea Griminelli. Do not miss the charming concert on top of Mario Brunello Torrazzo (September 26), event that left a mark on the history of violin making in Festival. It promises to be of great interest the exhibition of young talents in Italian Conservatories Santa Maria della Pietà. Also involved in the Auditorium of the Chamber of Commerce, which will host the concert on October 2 oestrus Quartet Euphoria.
